Dump Truck Driver Class A or B Montroy Companies - 1.0 East Syracuse, NY Job Details Full-time $22 - $26 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Resource conservation CDL A Route planning DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Dump truck Full Job Description Drives truck equipped with various configurations of dump body to transport and dump materials such as rock, topsoil, or other materials as needed. Loads and facilitates movement of equipment using various tilt deck and lowboy trailers. Drives other vehicles and/or configurations as assigned and trained. Ability to drive all vehicle types. Complete a daily truck log and submit reports of mileage covered at EOD Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules Ability to Load and Unload Equipment when needed Class A driver's license in good standing No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years No DWI/DUI in last 10 years 2+ years' commercial driving experience required
