Job Description:
Are you a dependable CDL driver who wants a stable, year-round income without the threat of seasonal winter layoffs? We are an 80-year-old precast concrete manufacturing company located right here in Elmira, NY [local]. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Class A or Class B CDL driver to join our team long-term. Role:
We do things differently here. We protect our crew's income all year long, but that means your responsibilities shift with the seasons: Driving Season (Spring/Summer/Fall): You will handle local deliveries across the region using our automatic fleet. You are home every night to be with your family. Fabrication Season (Winter Slowdown): Unlike most local driving companies, we do not lay you off in the winter . Instead, you will work right alongside our crew inside the production shop—pouring concrete, stripping heavy steel forms, and doing physical labor.
What We Offer:
Starting Pay:
$22.00 to $27.00 per hour (depending on experience and class of license).
Consistent Income:
Your hourly rate stays exactly the same whether you are behind the wheel or working on the shop floor.
Stability:
Steady, full-time hours 52 weeks a year.

What We Require:
An active New York State Class A or Class B CDL. An up-to-date DOT medical card. Background check A clean driving abstract (our commercial insurance carrier must approve your record). A proven history of reliable attendance and showing up on time every day. The physical stamina and willingness to perform heavy manual labor in our shop.
