$25-$27 per hour Full-Time | Year-Round Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Crane Truck Driver to join our team in Elmira, NY. The Crane Truck Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering finished goods, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner. This position also assists with shop operations, loading and unloading, and general yard duties as needed. Duties & Responsibilities Operate a tri-axle truck with attached crane in accordance with all applicable state and federal transportation laws. Transport loads safely and efficiently whileplying with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Maneuver truck, trailer, and crane into loading and unloading areas safely and accurately. Assist with loading and unloading materials using the attached crane; return all equipment to designated storage areas. Maintain signed invoices, bills of lading, delivery paperwork, and collect customer payments when required. Deliverpleted documentation to the shipping office or designated personnel upon routepletion. Perform routine truck inspections and basic service checks including oil, water, fuel, and air levels; report maintenance issues promptly. Arrange trucks and trailers in shipping yards to maximize loading efficiency. Follow allpany, state, and federal safety standards and operational procedures. Strip forms and prepare concrete forms for shipping, including sealing and patching. Handle and move materials using overhead cranes and other equipment. Assist with general shop duties including forming, setting, moving, and storing products. Operate power tools and equipment as needed. Maintain cleanliness andanization of work areas. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Skills & Abilities Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability tomunicate professionally and courteously with customers and coworkers. Ability to remain focused andanized in a fast-paced work environment. Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential. Strongmitment to workplace safety. Required Education & Experience Valid CDL Class B license appropriate for the vehicle being operated. Ability to pass background screening and drug testing in accordance with federal and state DOT regulations. Minimum of one (1) yearmercial driving experience. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Two (2) years of Boom/Crane operating experience. CDL Class A license preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a truck. Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds. Ability to work outdoors and in industrial/shop environments as needed.
Pay Details:
