We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and delivery vehicles to transport goods efficiently across designated routes. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers with manual transmissions. Load and unload cargo using mechanical knowledge and appropriate equipment, ensuring secure handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to verify safety standards and report any mechanical issues promptly. Deliver goods to customers or job sites efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing proper techniques and equipment to prevent injury. Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other documentation required for compliance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that arise during transit. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for operating heavy trucks and specialized vehicles. Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery operations, or related roles. Mechanical knowledge of trucks such as front loaders, rear loaders, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of loading/unloading processes. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record demonstrating safe operation over time. Knowledge of load securing techniques for various truck types to ensure safety during transit.
