Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmission across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety protocols Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates or issues during deliveries Assist with freight handling as needed to ensure proper load securement and delivery accuracy Requirements Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record Experience in truck driving, including freight delivery and route driving Must possess ability to use electronic logs and company email Ability to account for loading & unloading freight efficiently Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and punctuality Physical ability to handle long hours on the road Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening prior to employment This role is integral to our logistics operations, requiring professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to safe driving practices.
