Job Description
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, OUT BEFORE 5PM NO WEEKENDS DEDICATED ROUTE - BUFFALO, ROCHESTER, SYRACUSE AREA
We are currently seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver to make deliveries and pick-ups to Rochester and Buffalo areas. The Class A CDL Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for completing assigned deliveries in accordance with customer expectations, and continuously representing OrCon Industries Corp in a respectful, professional, and courteous manner. The Delivery Driver will also be responsible for receiving customer's signature on delivery, ensuring appropriate paperwork is given to customer, and signed copies returned to OrCon. Very little dock work is required for this position. The following are the minimum qualifications we are seeking for this position:- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess and maintain required license - Class A CDL Driver's License
- 1 to 3 years of previous driving experience in a manufacturing environment, operating commercial trucks
- Ability to drive manual transmission trucks
- Comprehensive understanding of moving and storage operations, including being proficient at packing and loading trucks
- Ability to comprehend and implement oral instructions quickly
- Ability to understand and complete paperwork
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, vendors, support personnel, and management
