CDL Class A Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills. The Truck Driver will operate various types of trucks, including tanker, tractor-trailer, flatbed, and refrigerated trailers. Duties Safely drive and operate assigned trucks to transport freight to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods using forklifts when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that may occur during transport. Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during route driving. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck both inside and out. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Proficiency in operating various types of trucks including tanker, tractor-trailer, flatbed, and refrigerated trailers. Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and regulations related to freight transportation. Ability to perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles. Excellent navigational skills with familiarity in route planning. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight.
