Job Description

Schmidt's Wholesale is seeking a delivery driver for our Monticello, NY location. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motived, customer oriented and a true team player.
Job duties include:
Deliver orders to customers and job sites Loading and unloading delivery vehicles Stock & move materials by carrying, pushing, rolling, hand trucks, and/or forklifts.
Customer Service Requirements:
Walk a minimum of 2 miles per shift. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds from the floor. Stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel. Climb up and down stairs (where applicable). Ability to understand and implement order instructions based on paperwork Ability to work independently while demonstrating a "team" approach Ability to work overtime as needed A clean CDL-B Driver's License At least six months of prior truck driving experience is preferred. Prior plumbing, heating, hvac, and/or electrical sales experience preferred. This position in full time year-round with excellent compensation and benefits.
