Flat rate of $75 per route + partial mileage reimbursement About King David Tacos King David Tacos is a woman-owned, Brooklyn-founded business established in 2016, bringing Austin-style breakfast tacos to NYC through retail, wholesale, catering, and mobile food carts. Schedule Expectations 3-5 days per week 4-8 hour shifts Early morning and weekend availability required (5AM start time) Schedule may fluctuate based on business needs Job Overview KDT Drivers are responsible for transporting wholesale, catering, and retail deliveries throughout New York and New Jersey using personal vehicles and company vans. Drivers ensure orders arrive safely, on time, and under proper food safety conditions while maintaining professional communication with the operations team. Main Responsibilities Pick up and deliver orders from KDT HQ to retail and catering locations Load/unload tacos, catering items, and light equipment Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules Maintain communication with managers throughout shifts Accurately mark deliveries in delivery apps and logs Handle food safely and maintain temperature standards Inspect vehicles and report maintenance concerns promptly Assist with transportation of KDT carts and event equipment as needed Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries Minimum Requirements Valid driver's license with clean driving record Personal vehicle with current insurance required CDL not required Ability to lift 50-70 lbs and maneuver carts/dollies Ability to communicate effectively in English or with translation support as needed Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications 1+ year delivery or food service driving experience preferred Familiarity with Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and NJ routes Defensive and safe driving habits Strong attention to detail and positive attitude Working Conditions Extended periods of driving, standing, walking, loading, and unloading Exposure to varying weather and temperature conditions Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and time management Regular lifting, bending, carrying, and repetitive motions Not limited to the above Why Work With Us?
