Warehouse Transport Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate commercial warehouse vehicles. Responsibilities Reports to the Director of Warehousing and Logistics Safely drive and operate a variety of commercial vehicles Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transport to and from work locations and the warehouse. Follow designated routes and schedules while maintaining punctuality. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain vehicle in a safe and clean condition. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders as needed. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Cross-trained to assist in warehouse responsibilities as needed. Skills Valid drivers license with a clean driving record Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience with forklift operation is a plus. Familiarity with route driving techniques and navigation systems. Ability to perform moving tasks efficiently, including loading and unloading cargo. Previous experience in bus driving or shuttle driving is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
