Richard Sears Tree Experts Position Type:
Full-Time Richard Sears Tree Experts is looking for a reliable and motivated CDL Class A Driver to join our growing team. We are a dedicated tree care company that prides itself on safety, quality work, and team collaboration. In this role, you won't just be sitting in the cab—you will be an integral part of our daily operations. We are looking for someone who can safely transport our heavy equipment and actively support our tree care crews on the ground once we reach the job site. Tree care experience is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate! If you have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn the industry, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Safe Transportation:
Drive and operate commercial vehicles (CDL Class A) to transport equipment, materials, and crew members to and from job sites safely and efficiently.
On-Site Support:
Actively assist the tree care crew during operations. This includes managing brush, operating the woodchipper, staging equipment, and helping with site cleanup.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment. Ensure trucks are fueled, stocked, and maintained.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and industry standards to maintain a safe work environment for the public and the crew. Required Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A . Clean driving record and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen. Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong team player with a proactive, hands-on attitude. Preferred Qualifications (Not required, but a major plus!) Prior experience in the tree care or landscaping industry. OSHA 10-Hour Certification. EHAP (Electrical Hazards Awareness Program) Certification. Flagging Certification.
