Rochester, NY (Home Daily) Overview Corrigan Moving Systems is hiring a Driver / Crew Lead for our Rochester, NY location. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines driving, physical work, and team supervision. You will be responsible for leading a crew, ensuring safe and efficient moves, and delivering a high level of customer service on every job. This position offers 25-40+ hours per week based on business demand. Flexibility and availability are important for success in this role. What You'll Do Operate a 26 ft. straight truck for local moving and delivery jobs (home daily) Lead, supervise, and support a crew of movers on job sites Safely load, unload, pack, wrap, and transport household and commercial goods Plan and organize efficient loading, inventory management, and job flow Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on-site, conducting walkthroughs and addressing questions or concerns Ensure all work is completed according to company safety standards and procedures Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain equipment Complete and submit job paperwork, inventory sheets, and time records Schedule & Hours Typically Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed Start time between 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM End times vary based on job completion 25-40+ hours per week based on workload Requirements Valid Driver's License Must be 21 years or older Ability to pass a DOT physical, BG check, and pre-employment drug test Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs. repeatedly throughout the day Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team Preferred Qualifications 1+ year previous moving and storage industry experience 1+ year experience leading or supervising a team 1+ year experience driving box trucks or straight trucks Pay & Benefits $21/hour base pay Tips + Bonuses/Incentives Weekly pay schedule Career advancement opportunities, including CDL-A Driver training program Medical insurance available 401(k) with company match 10 days of paid time off annually
