Company Overview Oaks Disposal is a trusted provider of residential waste for clients in the local area. As a branch of Oaks Construction, we are fully licensed and insured, and are new to the Rochester area to meet diverse needs. Our team is dedicated to delivering reliable and efficient waste management solutions. Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable Garbage Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate various types of trucks—including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds—to collect and transport waste materials safely and efficiently. Your expertise in heavy lifting, mechanical knowledge, and commercial driving will ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining high safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate different types of waste collection trucks, including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds Load and unload waste materials efficiently using manual or mechanical methods Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Load waste containers onto trucks using mechanical systems or manual effort as needed Drive in accordance with traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure timely pickups and deliveries Maintain accurate records of routes, pickups, drop-offs, and vehicle maintenance logs Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while adhering to safety protocols Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating heavy trucks such as front loaders, rear loaders, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or flatbeds Mechanical knowledge of truck systems and basic maintenance procedures Ability to perform manual lifting safely for extended periods Proven experience in driving delivery or waste collection vehicles Knowledge of load & unload procedures for various waste containers Strong commitment to safety standards and traffic regulations Join our team to make a tangible impact on community cleanliness while enjoying a physically active role that values your skills!
