Boom truck Manual transmission Full Job Description Barnes & Cone, a family-owned manufacturer of concrete masonry products since 1926, has an opening for a truck driver that holds a CDL A or B license. This individual will deliver building materials to jobsites in the central New York area and will be back home every night. Work hours are Monday through Friday with a chance of Saturday's if sales require it. Delivery equipment includes all manual transmission trucks. Dependent on the delivery we use boom trucks, trucks with moffetts and tractor trailer combination. With this specialized delivery equipment there will be many hours of training given. Along with being a great place to work, our driving position offers an excellent Teamster package. 90% of the health benefits are paid by the company. Liberal paid time off Company funded pension contribution of $5.70 an hour up 40 hours ($228.00 a week). The pension is above and beyond the paid hourly starting rate of $25.01, which can progress to $26.01 upon showing of hard work ethics, equipment handling and dedication. Candidate must have a clean driving record and with an employment record to reflect this. Must be able to pass a DOT physical, drug and alcohol screening and a road test.
