This position is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of building materials, aggregates, and other products to customer job sites while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience operating commercial vehicles, maintain a strong safety record, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class B vehicles, including dump trucks and Moffett-equipped trucks. Deliver building materials, lumber, aggregates, and other products to residential and commercial job sites. Operate a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett) to load, unload, and place materials safely and accurately. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation. Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with DOT regulations and company safety standards. Maintain accurate delivery records, tickets, and logs. Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch personnel, and yard staff. Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed. Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, incidents, and safety concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicles and equipment. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Required Qualifications Valid CDL Class B driver's license. Current DOT Medical Card. Clean driving record. Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating dump trucks. Experience operating a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift). Forklift certification or related material handling experience. Experience in the building materials, construction, landscaping, or transportation industries. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds. Climb in and out of trucks and equipment throughout the workday. Sit for extended periods while operating commercial vehicles. Work in a variety of weather and job-site conditions.
