Class A or B CDL Driver / Flatbed

Job Summary We are a full service steel warehouse and are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A or B CDL Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a clean and valid CDL A License, Current DOT Physical and Med Card, strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. We serve

Responsibilities Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Must be able to tarp and un-tarp loads in a safe manner. Must have basic computer skills and ELD experience to maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and deliveries. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport. Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL A or B (Commercial Driver's License). Familiarity with operating flatbed tractor trailers and route driving for timely deliveries. Experience as a delivery driver with a strong understanding of freight handling procedures. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road. Manage the truck and take ownership of its appearance and condition. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. This position has a physical aspect so applicants need to be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 lbs.
