The ideal candidate will have a some background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with the ability to operate a wrecker tow truck. This role requires a commitment to safety and customer service, as you will be responsible for assisting stranded motorists and transporting vehicles with care. Responsibilities Operate tow truck to safely transport vehicles. Perform automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing. Load and unload vehicles efficiently without damaging. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during stressful situations. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure they are in safe working order. Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs or adjustments on-site when necessary. Maintain accurate records of services provided and any incidents during towing operations. Experience Proven experience as a Tow Truck Driver, Wheel lift or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge and experience with automotive repair and diagnostics. Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including those with manual transmissions. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in various conditions. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
