In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting mulch, topsoil, gravel, across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Your expertise in operating specialized trailers such as dump trucks and walking floor semi delivery trucks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to efficient supply chain operations. Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers with manual/automatic transmissions, including dump trailers, walking floors. Operate dump-trailer/walking floor safely and responsibly. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards. Plan and follow optimized routes for delivery, maintaining punctuality and communication with dispatch teams. Safely communicate to get loaded with material and be aware of surroundings and space while dumping product for customers. Communicate effectively with clients, warehouse personnel, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service when delivering our material. Skills Proven experience operating semi-trucks with automatic or manual transmissions in various trailer types such as dump trailers, walking floors. Strong knowledge of truck driving regulations and safety procedures for commercial vehicles. Ability to load & unload dump bed or walking floor. Familiarity with route driving strategies to maximize efficiency while adhering to delivery timelines. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with tractor-trailers preferred. Good communication skills for coordinating deliveries and reporting issues accurately.
