About the Role We're hiring a Lowboy Driver to transport heavy equipment such as pavers, rollers, excavators, end-loaders, and other machinery to and from construction job sites. This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment is delivered safely, accurately, and on time to support our crews in the field. This is a full-time, seasonal position that primarily operates during first shift, with the benefit of being home every night. As we continue to grow, we're looking for dependable team members who want to be part of a company focused on safety, quality, and long-term success. What You'll Do Safely operate a commercial lowboy truck to transport heavy equipment Load and unload equipment, securing loads with chains and binders Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck cleanliness Comply with traffic laws, regulations, and company policies Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers Utilize fleet management software for dispatch assignments Maintain regular in-person attendance Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Prolonged periods of sitting and standing Ability to climb and descend ladders Work outside normal business hours and in varying conditions What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent Valid Class A CDL with manual transmission Current valid DOT physical and clean driving record Familiarity with safe operation of construction and paving equipment Knowledge of USDOT and FMCSA safety regulations Understanding of DOT weight restrictions and cargo securement rules Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed 5+ years of lowboy/carry-all experience preferred What We Offer $1,500 sign-on bonus for new hires Company-paid or discounted YMCA membership Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Employer contribution to Health Savings Account with enrollment in High Deductible Health Plan Traditional and Roth 401(k) Plans with Employer Match Company-paid Life Insurance Policy Paid Time Off (Personal, Holiday, Bereavement) DOT Physical Reimbursement Shift premiums and overtime opportunities available Ready to take the wheel and deliver excellence?
