The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, and possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting freight to designated locations while ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies. Duties Operate tractor-trailer units for the safe transportation of goods. Manual transmission experience is a plus, but automatic-only drivers are welcome. Ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tractor-trailer operation. Perferred 3 year experience in commercial driving, particularly with tractor-trailers. Ability to handle various types of freight safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transportation and cargo handling. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Must be able to pass a drug screening as part of the hiring process.
