Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become the essential link in providing prompt, reliable roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. In this energetic role, you will operate various tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to safely transport vehicles across different locations. Your mechanical expertise and customer service skills will ensure every interaction is professional, positive, and solution-oriented. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently, including flatbed and wheel-lift models, to recover and transport vehicles. Conduct automotive diagnostics and basic repairs when necessary to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness. Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as winches, straps, and forklifts. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, dispatchers, and other team members during service calls. Manage conflict situations professionally while maintaining safety protocols during roadside assistance or vehicle recovery. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and related documentation for accountability. Perform routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and proper functioning. Change flat tires Wash and maintain cleanliness to truck inside and out Complete a battery class for certification Enter and receive information on tablet Use a battery tester Install batteries Perform lock outs Drive local and long distance Operate a hydraulic PTO Requirements Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and automotive repair skills. With a clean driving record; experience driving tow trucks or heavy-duty vehicles preferred Mechanical experience with manual transmissions and familiarity with automotive systems. Ability to operate specialized equipment such as flatbeds, forklifts, and other loading tools safely. Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict professionally in high-pressure situations. Physical stamina to load/unload vehicles and perform roadside assistance tasks efficiently. Prior experience in towing operations or mechanic work is highly desirable.
