Open position for Warner Robins/Dublin GA Area only.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional CDL Mobile Driver to join our team. Under the supervision of the Director of Donor Services, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe collection of blood from volunteer donors. This role involves managing equipment and supplies, preparing blood units for transportation, and ensuring a pleasant and reassuring experience for all donors.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Management:
Load, transport, set up, and dismantle equipment and supplies for blood collection.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Maintain the bloodmobile and truck, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Documentation:
Complete necessary logs and reports, including the Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR) and Driver's Daily Log (DDL).
Quality Control:
Maintain accurate manual and computer files on quality control and blood collections.
Public Relations:
Promote positive relations with donors, sponsors, and the community.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved phlebotomy course.
Experience:
3-6 months of experience driving vehicles over 26,001 pounds;
Skills:
Basic mechanical and clerical skills; ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift at least 50 pounds.
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Class A or B CDL driver's license with a passenger endorsement; clean driving record. Why Join Us?
