Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair, as well as excellent customer service skills. This role involves responding to roadside assistance calls, safely transporting vehicles, and providing exceptional service to our customers in various situations. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks and flatbed vehicles to transport disabled or damaged vehicles safely. Perform automotive diagnostics and minor repairs as needed during towing operations. Load and unload vehicles onto tow trucks, ensuring secure transportation. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including vehicle condition and any repairs made. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and managing conflicts professionally. Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks to ensure they are in good working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and operating equipment. Skills Proficient in automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge related to vehicle repair. Experience with manual transmission vehicles and commercial driving requirements. Strong conflict management skills to handle customer interactions effectively. Familiarity with flatbed towing techniques and equipment operation. Previous mechanic experience is a plus, enhancing the ability to perform minor repairs on-site. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience operating forklifts is advantageous. Strong customer service orientation, ensuring positive interactions with clients during stressful situations.
