CDL Class A Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and the ability to manage various types of trucks, including ,tractor-trailers. Duties

• Operate and drive different types of trucks including flatbed, and tractor-trailer.
• Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo information.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Manage manual transmission vehicles as necessary.
• Adhere to company policies regarding safety practices and procedures. Skills
• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Proficiency in operating various types of trucks including roll-off trucks, tankers, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
• Strong understanding of manual transmission operation.
• Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
• Excellent navigation skills with knowledge of local routes.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and dispatchers.
• Attention to detail for maintaining accurate logs and ensuring vehicle safety compliance.
• Commitment to safety practices in all aspects of driving.
