Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Class A Semi Dump Bucket Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty trucks equipped with dump buckets, delivering bulk materials efficiently and securely across designated routes. Your expertise in truck driving, coupled with your ability to handle specialized equipment, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, landscaping, or waste management projects by providing reliable and professional freight transportation services. Duties Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers equipped with semi dump buckets to transport bulk materials such as gravel, sand, or debris. Load and unload freight using the dump bucket mechanism, ensuring proper distribution and securement of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and dump bucket equipment to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns. Follow designated routes accurately, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies for route driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any incidents encountered during transit. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo weight, and delivery documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Assist with loading and unloading freight when necessary, utilizing forklift or other equipment as required. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers or semi dump trucks. Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation and handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or roll-off trucks is a plus. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Familiarity with freight handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and route adherence. Knowledge of load securement techniques specific to dump trucks and heavy freight. Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and team members.
