Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Garbage truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring safe and efficient delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of various truck types, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, and flatbeds. A commitment to safety and mechanical knowledge is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Operate trucks and other heavy vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Load and unload materials at designated locations, ensuring proper handling techniques are used. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Follow delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and any incidents that occur during transport. Assist with heavy lifting as necessary during loading and unloading processes. Skills Proficient in operating trucks with auto transmission. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting vehicle issues. Experience as a delivery driver with a focus on safety and efficiency. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job. Familiarity with operating roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, and flatbeds is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety regulations and delivery accuracy.
