If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love driving and being outside, this position is perfect for you! Duties Safely operate specialized trucks to transport freight efficiently. Execute route driving with precision, adhering to schedules and traffic laws to deliver packages promptly across designated areas. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met; report any mechanical issues immediately. Communicate effectively with management and address issues proactively, as well as provide excellent customer service to our customers. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and work area throughout your shift. Attention to details including time windows and addresses. Skills Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles with a focus on route driving and delivery operations. Familiarity with handling different types of freight such as bulk, residential deliveries and packages up to 150lbs Skilled in load & unload procedures using correct lifting methods Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and cargo securement.
