Certification Route driving Driver's License Time management Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a company vehicle as you transport staff and clients with developmental, intellectual and/or physical disabilities to various outings and appointments. Your role is vital in ensuring our staff and clients make it to appointments in a safe and timely manner, maintaining a professional demeanor, and upholding safety standards across all driving activities. This position offers an a fun a flexible opportunity to engage with our amazing clients and helping them in their daily activities. Duties Safely operate company vehicle wile transporting staff and clients. Drive assigned routes confidently, assuring clients make it to and home from job sites. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, miles driven per trip, and vehicle inspections in compliance with regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with management to coordinate and resolve any issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols related to all company vehicles. car, multi-passenger van and lift bus. Qualifications Experience driver roles involving routes with time management. Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance. Knowledge of safety regulations related to compliance transporting people. Ability to use a wheelchair lift a plus - we will train. Experience working with individuals with developmental, intellectual and physical disabilities a plus. CPR certification - we will train if you do not have one Must pass background check in accordance with the State of Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities Attestation.
