Job Description
The Avenue Care and Rehabilitation is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility offering a distinctive experience not commonly found in traditional care settings. With a hotel-like atmosphere and all-private suites, our environment is designed to promote comfort, dignity, and healing. We are proud to provide some of the area's highest levels of rehabilitation, nursing, and medical support for individuals transitioning from hospital to home. Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate physical, medical, emotional, and spiritual care in a respectful and uplifting setting. We're looking for a dependable and compassionate Resident Transportation Driver to safely transport our residents to appointments, outings, and activities. Job Duties:
Safely operate facility vehicles for scheduled trips Assist residents with boarding, exiting, and mobility needs Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues Follow traffic laws and facility policies Coordinate transportation schedules with staff Keep accurate records for billing and documentation Provide friendly, respectful service to all residentsQualifications:
Must be an STNA (If not, training may be provided if interested) Minimum age: 18; at least 2 years of driving experience Valid driver's license with no more than 5 points Clear criminal and FBI background checks Medical exam and Passenger Assistance Course completion Current CPR and First Aid certification Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents physically Drive with purpose—apply today and help our residents stay connected and cared for!Similar jobs in Warrensville Heights, OH
