Job Description
Overview As a member of a 2-10 person working team, you will apply tarps, inner plastic lining, edge protectors, straps, and bungee cords to loads on flatbed trailers. Safety Requirements Follow ALL established rules and policies Attend and participate in ALL safety huddles and meetings PPE- hard hats, safety glasses, steal toe shoes/boots (above the ankles and the must lace), ear plugs, high visibility vest or shirt, and gloves. Physical Requirements Climb on and off loaded and unloaded flatbed trailers at all times Climb ladder platforms Pull and spread tarps over load Pull and spread inner plastic linning Ability to throw straps over loaded flatbed trailers Audible and visible awareness to effectively negotiate congested areas Lift and move up to 75lbs on occasion Reach at, below, and above shoulders Standing/Walking constantly We offer health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
