Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle the winching equipment and manually tie down the loaded equipment using chains and boomers Drive the truck to and from the area office to the customer's location and back to the area office location Operate a tractor and trailer unit or equivalent in accordance with safety procedures Perform safety inspections as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT) Maintain a DOT driver log and record according to regulations and requirements Complete work tickets to ensure conformance with instructions and orders Report all safety issues, incidents and concerns to the supervisor of current or anticipated repair needs Provide satisfactory customer service Keep radio or telephone contact with supervisor or dispatcher to receive delivery or pickup instructions Conduct all pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor-trailer unit Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisorREQUIREMENTS
1-year Winch Truck driving experience Minimum 21 years of age Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) from state of residence Must successfully pass a DOT physical, pre-placement drug screen and satisfactory background check Must have acceptable driving record in accordance with companies Vehicle Policy Must demonstrate ability to work safely and adhere to all safety rules and regulations Ability to work independently and take initiative in performing work in the field Must be willing to work long hours such as 12-hour shifts Basic knowledge of oil & gas operations strongly preferred Knowledge of and adherence to DOT, EPA, and OSHA rules and regulations Flexibility to work irregular schedule including days, nights, and weekends Ability to work in a fast-paced "start-up" environment Must be a team playerPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to frequently lift or carry containers, recycling bins, or loose materials to truck; which may result in twisting, pulling, pushing and bending, depending on the material and collection vehicle type Ability to climb, bend or stand for an extended period of time. In addition, individuals must be able to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 80 lbs. Capable of loading and unloading trucks Exposure to weather such as hot, cold, wet, humid and windy conditions Ability to operate trucks and other equipment as needed May be exposed to solvents, chemicals and refuse Keep informed of weather conditions Use of PPE when required such as reflective vest, gloves, steel-toe boots and hard hats Use of office equipment such as computer, phone and electronic logsJob Type:
