About Us:
Sunriver Raft & Float is a friendly, locally owned outfitter that provides shuttle and river equipment rentals to both tourists and locals in the beautiful Sunriver area. Operating on the scenic Deschutes and Little Deschutes Rivers with a USFS special use permit and an Oregon State Marine Board license; we believe in river access for all. About the
Position:
Spend your summer along the stunning Deschutes River as part of the Summer River Crew in your role as Driver and Guest Services at Sunriver Raft & Float. You will be the welcoming face that greets guests, takes reservations, drives guests to and from access points, outfits them with equipment, and ensures guests a convienient path to lasting memories on the water.
Responsibilities:
As River Driver, your responsibilities will vary and may include: Keeping tours on time Driving a 15-passenger vehicle with a trailer Loading and unloading boats Giving group safety talks Engaging with guests in a friendly and informative manner Ensuring vehicles and equipment are suitable and ready for guest use As Support Staff, your responsibilities will vary and may include: Checking guests in Facilitating guests' completing the required Participant Agreement forms Answering questions about our services and the local area Taking reservations Setting teammates up for success Performing a range of duties that can change from day to day and trip to trip
Qualifications:
A valid driver's license Comfort with driving large vehicles with a trailer Ability to lift up to 70 lbs Current CPR and First Aid certification or the ability to obtain Friendly and social demeanor Love for the outdoors Proactive, forward-thinking attitude with attention to detail
