Commercial Drivers License Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and heavy equipment to deliver goods efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in commercial driving, vehicle operation, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including, dump trucks, transfer trucks, (manual and auto) flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. Load and unload cargo efficiently using mechanical knowledge and appropriate equipment. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Local routes to deliver materials, ensuring timely arrivals at designated locations. Assist with heavy lifting and secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the types of trucks operated. Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver with knowledge of heavy lifting techniques. Mechanical knowledge of truck systems, including auto and manual transmission operation and basic troubleshooting skills. Experience operating dump trucks, transfers, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers preferred. Ability to load & unload cargo safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; familiarity with local routes. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly in various weather conditions. Pay:

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
