Box Truck Driver Solely Junk, LLC Portland, OR Job Details Full-time From $21 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Paid training Company truck Qualifications Photography Outdoor work Customer service Driver's License Load & unload Full Job Description Solely Junk LLC is hiring a reliable driver to operate our box trucks and other work vehicles while assisting with junk removal jobs throughout the Portland area. We help customers remove furniture, appliances, and unwanted items quickly and responsibly. We're a fast-moving company looking for someone dependable who can work hard, move efficiently, and represent the company professionally with customers. This is a physically demanding job, so applicants must be comfortable lifting heavy items throughout the day.

Responsibilities:

Safely drive box trucks and other company work vehicles to scheduled jobs Junk removal, loading, hauling, and dump runs Remove furniture, appliances, and household items Take job photos when required Provide friendly and professional customer service Assist with estimates and invoices when needed Vehicle Experience (Preferred): Experience operating the following is a big plus: Box trucks Dump trucks Dump trailers Drivers should be flexible and comfortable operating different work vehicles when necessary. In some situations, the ability to tow a dump trailer may be required. Previous experience towing trailers is a major plus but not required.⸻Daily Operations Drivers start their day by picking up the company truck and meeting their helper Drivers must leave the office with enough time to arrive at the first scheduled job within the assigned arrival window Drivers are responsible for collecting payment from customers Accepted payments include: Cash Card Zelle Cash App Digital payments must show confirmation before leaving the job site.

Cash and checks must be made out to Solely Junk LLC and placed in the bank bag for end-of-day turn-in. In situations where signal or internet is limited, drivers may invoice the customer electronically and move to the next job if the customer appears trustworthy.

Work Attire:

Drivers must arrive to work wearing: Closed-toe shoes (steel toe recommended) Pants or clean work jeans, and a company-provided shirt, and work gloves. A clean and professional appearance is required when interacting with customers.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly Comfortable driving box trucks and work vehicles (or willing to learn) Reliable, punctual, and good communication skills Customer-friendly attitude. Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions. Pay $20 - $24 per hour, starting pay DOE. We do offer performance bonuses and all customer tips are paid directly to the team on the job. Raise considerations will be made once trained to run jobs independently.

Schedule:

Full-time position, Monday - Saturday, Closed Sundays. Typical hours 9 AM - 5 PM.
