  • Full-time Coast Pavement Services is seeking an experienced CDL Dump Truck Driver to support our asphalt paving & Excavation operations.
Additional operations may include roadway striping, sweeping debris management ant sealcoating. This position is responsible for safely transporting asphalt, aggregates, and construction materials to and from project sites while supporting paving crews as needed. Successful candidates are safety-minded, dependable, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work. Essential Responsibilities Safely operate Class A or Class B dump trucks in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Haul hot mix asphalt, aggregate, sand, gravel, millings, and other construction materials. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation. Maintain delivery tickets, load counts, and other project records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, foremen, paving superintendents, and plant personnel. Follow haul routes, project schedules, and safety requirements. Monitor vehicle condition and promptly report maintenance concerns. Assist paving and construction crews during downtime between loads. Support project activities including traffic control, site cleanup, material handling, and other labor duties as assigned. Maintain a clean and professional appearance of equipment and work areas. Represent Coast Pavement Services professionally with customers, inspectors, and the public. Qualifications Required Valid Class A or Class B CDL. Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate. Clean driving record and insurable under company policy. Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and overtime during the construction season. Preferred 4+ years of dump truck driving experience. Asphalt paving or roadway construction experience. Experience hauling hot mix asphalt. Knowledge of Oregon DOT and local agency construction requirements. Flagger certification and/or traffic control experience. Physical Requirements Ability to climb in and out of trucks repeatedly throughout the day. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to walk uneven terrain and active construction sites. Ability to safely perform vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks.
