Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Over-the-Road (OTR) driver with a minimum of two years of professional driving experience to join our dynamic team. This role requires a highly motivated individual who is SAP friendly and ready to operate across all 48 states. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with expertise in handling various freight types, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and dry van loads. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers across nationwide routes, adhering to all federal and state regulations. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary. Manage a variety of cargo types including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and freight requiring special handling. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and deliveries in compliance with DOT regulations. Use SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) software to track shipments, manage documentation, and ensure seamless communication across the supply chain. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards. Navigate route driving efficiently while maintaining timely delivery schedules across all 48 states. Qualifications Minimum of two years of professional OTR truck driving experience with a proven track record in freight delivery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for handling various freight types (e.g., refrigerated, tanker). Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not required. Familiarity with SAP or similar logistics management software is essential; must be SAP friendly. Ability to operate different types of trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Strong knowledge of load securing techniques and safety protocols for freight handling. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, route planning, and time management.
