Partner With Us — Owner-Operators Wanted Box Truck & Tractor Trailer | Independent Contractor Opportunity 845 Move Now LLC is a New York-based moving company actively seeking experienced, professional Independent Contractor Owner-Operators to join our subcontractor network for long-distance household goods moving. We are growing fast and need reliable, safety-minded operators who take pride in their equipment, their work, and the service they deliver to customers. This is not a lease or load board arrangement . This is a direct subcontracting relationship with a growing moving company that has consistent interstate move volume along the East Coast and east of the Mississippi River. If you own your truck, have the proper credentials, and are serious about putting miles and money together, keep reading. This Is a Business-to-Business Partnership This is an independent contractor agreement . You operate your own business, use your own equipment, and are responsible for your own fuel, insurance, maintenance, and operating costs. You are not an employee . We provide the moves, the customers, dispatch support, and reliable weekly settlements. You bring the truck, the credentials, the professionalism, and the work ethic.
Territory Primary service area:
East Coast and east of the Mississippi River Based out of New York Routes originate and terminate across the region Interstate household goods moves You will cross state lines regularly Not all shipments will originate in or be destined for New York Routes may begin and end in various locations throughout the service region based on customer demand and dispatch needs What We Offer Consistent, year-round household goods moving volume Interstate routes along the East Coast and east of the Mississippi River Earn $200,000 - $400,000 Gross Revenue Per Year Weekly settlements by direct deposit — on time, every time Dedicated dispatch support — we keep you moving, not waiting Flexible scheduling — you control your availability, and we work with your calendar Respectful, professional working relationship — we treat our contractors right Compensation depends on how many loads you are able to take. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for owner-operators who run clean operations, take care of their equipment, and understand the household goods moving business. This is moving — not general freight. You need to know the difference and operate accordingly. You must understand how to properly handle, protect, load, and deliver residential customers' furniture and personal belongings. You will interact directly with customers, so professionalism, communication, and customer service matter. Your conduct represents our brand. Required Credentials — No Exceptions Active DOT Number / USDOT required Active MC Authority or operating under a registered carrier required Valid Commercial Driver's License if operating a tractor trailer Current and valid commercial vehicle insurance required Auto liability insurance minimum required Cargo insurance to protect household goods in transit required Good DOT safety score required — we verify Poor safety scores will not be accepted Valid driver's license with a clean MVR Must be willing to submit to a background check Must be able to provide Certificate of Insurance naming 845 Move Now LLC as additional insured Vehicle Requirements Box truck, 26 ft or larger, or tractor trailer preferred Vehicle must be well-maintained, clean, and in good mechanical condition Must have proper moving pads, blankets, straps, and tie-downs on board Equipment must be appropriate for hauling household goods and furniture Experience Requirements Prior experience in the household goods moving industry is strongly preferred Must understand how to properly blanket wrap, pad, and protect furniture and fragile household items Knowledge of proper loading and load securement techniques for household goods Familiarity with DOT Hours of Service regulations Experience running OTR routes along the East Coast is a plus Professional attitude required when working with residential customers Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule on the road Apply Today If you are a serious owner-operator with real moving experience, the right credentials, and a clean safety record, we want to hear from you.
