Entry‑Level Driver (Probationary)

Overview We are seeking a reliable Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting household goods efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of the moving industry & commercial driving with the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks. During Probation (Minimum 90 days), pay is 20 per hour. If probation is successful, the candidate will receive an offer to a non probationary role at 22.5 per hour. Driving Duties Safely operate box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials & cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery points. Assist in moving operations as needed, including protecting and securing customers property. Collaborate with team members to efficiently organize and manage moving tasks. Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Assist in training new team members on safety practices and procedures as needed. Lead crews in packing, loading, unloading, and site setup/teardown. Complete job paperwork; communicate schedules, site constraints, and customer expectations. Uphold safety, service quality, and time management standards. Experience Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record per company policy. Certified‑Mover‑level proficiency (or equivalent experience). Experience in commercial driving and knowledge of local roadways is essential. Previous experience in customer service roles will be beneficial for client interactions. Background in household moving operations or commercial driving is advantageous but not required.
