Commercial Drivers License Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and equipment to deliver goods efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in commercial driving, vehicle operation, and load management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to transport materials and goods. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or specialized equipment, ensuring secure and balanced loads. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities. Manage delivery schedules efficiently by planning routes and adhering to delivery timelines. Assist with mechanical troubleshooting or minor repairs when necessary, leveraging mechanical knowledge to maintain vehicle performance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with regulatory requirements. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on delivery operations. Strong mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting and vehicle maintenance. Experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading and unloading processes. Skilled in load management including securing cargo for safe transit. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and heavy-duty truck operation. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and understanding of traffic laws.
