Seasonal 1st Shift - Yard Driver

Overview Be a part of our Distribution Center because we know how satisfying it is to walk around in a new pair of sneakers, and it is our job to get footwear onto the feet of our fans. The Yard Driver is primarily responsible for the accurate and efficient movement trailers as well as the safe operation of all powered equipment within the Service Center. Duties include safely and accurately backing, pull spotting, and shifting tractor-trailer rigs. 1st Shift 9:00 aM - 5:30 p M - Monday through Friday Base rate paid bi-weekly: $27.59 Per hour

Referral Bonus:

Refer a friend and you both obtain $900 (Paid out in four increments - Eligibility and policy rules apply) Responsibilities Safely operate yard truck, pallet truck, order picker, and any other machines as needed. Maneuver equipment in and around tight corners, through staging areas, and around pedestrian traffic in a safe manner. Connect/disconnect trailer/container, operate trailer landing gear, and open trailer doors. Operate air-over hydraulic fifth-wheel front trailer support system. Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at beginning of shift which includes checking for damage and reporting all damages or malfunctions to supervisor immediately. Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read, write, operate RF device, conduct business related mathematics, and analyze data as required. Brings problems to the attention of the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager. Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods. Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling, and moving weights of 5 - 50 pounds constantly and 50-100lbs frequently. Ability to move 50-100lbs at least 25 feet in distance. Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands. Applicants must be 18 or older, have a positive attitude, be open to learning, work well with others and have the willingness to prioritize customer needs. Qualified candidates will be able to stand, walk, and lift weighted boxes. More details will be provided but will need the ability to meet vision requirements and meet other physical demands with labor regulations. Must have CDL.

Benefits Base rate paid bi-weekly:
