In this energetic role, you will operate specialized tow trucks to assist stranded motorists, recover vehicles from accident scenes, and provide exceptional customer service during stressful situations. Your expertise will help keep roads clear and drivers safe, all while demonstrating professionalism and mechanical proficiency. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills and mechanical knowledge in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles. Assist stranded drivers by providing prompt roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and fuel delivery. Conduct automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle issues and determine appropriate recovery methods. Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring damage-free transport using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary. Maintain accurate records of all recoveries, loads, and customer interactions for reporting purposes. Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and emergency responders to coordinate vehicle recovery efforts. Perform routine inspections and basic automotive repairs to ensure tow truck safety and functionality. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Proficiency in operating manual transmissions and commercial driving vehicles. Hands-on experience with tow trucks, flatbeds, and related recovery equipment like forklifts. Excellent customer service skills to manage stressful situations with professionalism. Ability to load & unload vehicles carefully while adhering to safety standards. Conflict management skills to handle challenging interactions calmly and effectively. Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and mechanic experience is highly valued. Pay:
