Part of Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG) , we combine specialist knowledge with national capability. ️ We're now looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our team at our Grant & Stone Chalfont Branch The Role We are looking for a Yard Operative to support the safe and efficient running of our builders' merchant yard. This is a hands‑on, outdoor role involving heavy building materials and direct customer interaction. What You'll Be Doing Load and unload building materials and timber Pick and prepare customer orders Assist customers collecting goods from the yard Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard area Operate forklift trucks (if trained) Follow all health and safety procedures What We're Looking For Positive, can‑do attitude Good communication and customer service skills Forklift licence (preferred but not essential) Full UK driving licence Yard or builders' merchant experience (desirable) Sales or product knowledge is a bonus Working Hours Week 1: Monday

• Friday 07:30-17:15 Saturday 08:00
