Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on schedule. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route management, and timely delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with transportation regulations. Candidates with experience in truck driving, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, are encouraged to apply. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks across designated routes. Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips to ensure proper functioning and safety standards. Manage route driving to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel efficiency. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with DOT regulations. Assist with forklift operations or roll-off trucks as needed for loading or unloading cargo. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe transportation practices. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times and any issues encountered during routes. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type (manual transmission experience preferred). Proven experience in truck driving, including freight delivery, route driving, and handling various truck types such as flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks. Experience with load & unload operations using forklifts or other equipment is a plus. Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklift or dump trucks is desirable. Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling. Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Good physical condition to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road. Pay:

$24.42 - $29.41 per hour
