Job Description

Box Truck Driver Full-time Employment requirements: Valid Driver's License (required). DOT issued medical card (RGS will assist with any recertification/renewals) (required). MUST be able to lift over 50 lbs. consistently. Clean driving record. CDL Class A preferred, not required. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Education:
High school or equivalent (required).
Experience:
1-2 years driving a 26' box truck (26,000 lb). 1 year of direct laborer experience (loading/unloading). Responsibilities (included but not limited to): Assists in loading and unloading trucks at the shop, finisher, and job sites. Uses company-provided technology/software to properly track/scan material and finished products. Document required paperwork for shipping and receiving, and confirm all components (rail sections, hardware, etc.) are accounted for before leaving for deliveries or going to the finisher. Interacts with Project Managers and Plant Manager when at the shop and job sites. Work with employees while at the shop/job site to ensure the truck is loaded/unloaded with the right material and hardware per job. It is required to adhere to all motor vehicle laws while operating RGS-owned vehicles. Report any problems/issues or maintenance needed on trucks to the Manager. Required to work in the shop when not driving.
