Aggregates About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate haul units to transport aggregate safely and efficiently within the quarry Perform pre- and post-operational inspections and promptly report equipment issues Maintain consistent production flow by coordinating with loaders, supervisors, and maintenance teams Follow all safety procedures, traffic patterns, and site regulations in an underground environment Keep accurate production and equipment records as required What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy mobile equipment in a confined or underground setting Strong attention to safety, situational awareness, and adherence to procedures Ability to perform basic equipment inspections and identify mechanical concerns Reliable teamwork and communication skills in a production-focused environment Physical capability to work in demanding conditions and perform job tasks effectively Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $26.70 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground differential $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year) Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled Shaping the future, building successes Heidelberg Materials - your springboard into the future of the construction materials industry.
