Local straight truck driver

HAZMAT PREFERRED

Responsibilities Operate straight trucks safely and efficiently to transport freight between designated locations. Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods while adhering to all safety regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards. Local PUD's, will have Lumper when necessary Pallet jack and dolly provided, LG trucks Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Proven experience in truck driving, preferably with straight trucks. Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical ability to load/unload cargo as required.
