Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers with manual or automatic transmissions, ensuring smooth and safe driving across various routes Drive flatbeds, conestoga, or other specialized equipment to meet diverse freight needs Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment when necessary, adhering to safety protocols Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Plan efficient routes for both regional and OTR deliveries, optimizing delivery times and fuel efficiency Secure freight properly for transport, including various steel or machinery Maintain accurate delivery records and vehicle maintenance reports State of the art ELD camera systems where drivers are rewarded for their safe driving Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record Minimum 1 year experience driving tractor-trailers with manual transmissions preferred and clear safety record Familiarity with flatbeds, vans, and other specialized equipment Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and load & unload procedures Ability to operate forklifts safely when handling cargo in warehouses or loading docks Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling Strong communication skills and a professional attitude on the road Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills keep goods moving efficiently while you enjoy the freedom of the open road.
