Equipment Operator

Equipment Operator Position:

Environmental Service Company is seeking applicants to fill operator positions. No experience necessary training will be provided. Applicants for operator positions must have a valid class "B" CDL license with tanker endorsement and air brake and manual transmission restrictions removed. All applicants must meet company driving criteria and provide their current 3-year motor vehicle record. G.A.P. Pollution & Environmental Control Inc. is a 40+ year old company that with the contribution of capable and enthusiastic personnel exhibiting a positive work attitude coupled with state-of-the art and well-maintained equipment ensures Gap Inc. a bright and profitable future. Gap Inc. is a 24-hour a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year service company supplying Vacuum Truck and High-pressure Water blasting services to all types of industries (Power Plants, Steel Mills, WWTP, WTP and more). Travel is required with company paid hotel and per-diem. Applicants must be willing to work at various locations and work varying shifts. Company offers single coverage hospitalization after 3 months and family coverage after one year. Paid holidays are available after 6 months and 401K plan offered after 3 months.

Starting wage for operators:

$28.00/hr Overtime over 40 hours per week Paid mileage for qualified travel Job duties include but not limited to: Drive equipment as needed Perform pre-trip, post trips and make minor repairs Conduct pre-job safety meetings and job hazard analysis and complete documentation Help to perform all work Complete all required paperwork and turn in as required Oversee the crew and job and complete in a safe efficient manner Follow and enforce all safety and work rules Communicate with customers, crews and supervisors
