Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Truck Driver to join our team. The Full-Time role is Monday thru Friday (home daily). We are a family owned dedicated carrier that operates in the NE region (drop and hook) pulling 53' dry-van trailers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Duties Operate and drive our semi-trucks pulling dry-van trailers (driver delivers wooden pallets of dry-food products utilizing a pallet jack) Drop-and-hook to EDS trailers and pull to depot locations or shuttles between our manufacturing plant and warehouse. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo information. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Proven driving experience pulling dry-van trailers Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not necessary Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Good communication skills to interact with team members and dispatchers effectively. Commitment to safety practices in all driving activities. Manual Transmission experience is preferred, but not essential. We are a small family business that values service and integrity.
