Responsibilities Position Overview:
Safely transport individuals to and from Salvation Army functions. Conduct a pre-trip/post trip inspection daily. Record any damages or wear in bus journal and report to Supervisor. Report any problems related to the vehicle such as accidents, damage, or passenger difficulties. Maintain/Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles. Participate in drug testing as requested. Do special pick-ups only assigned by supervisor's instructions. Responsible for notifying Operations Manager of any parts necessary for upkeep of the vehicles. Abide by all applicable driving laws and regulations. Participate in drug testing as requested. Do special pick-ups only assigned by supervisor's instructions.
Qualifications Requirements:
High School Diploma, or equivalent. Valid PA Driver's License with good driving record, CDL preferred. At least 3 years of driving experience. Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Law requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check. In addition, completion of a Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training is necessary prior to employment. Must understand and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
